SEMINOLE, Fla. (970 WFLA/AP)- A motorcyclist who struck a police cruiser has been charged with driving under the influence.

Police say 56-year-old Robert Gold struck the fender of a Pinellas County Sheriff's patrol car in Seminole just after midnight Sunday. He was making a left turn in his 2007 Harley Davidson when he collided with a sheriff's deputy entering the intersection.

No one was hurt in the crash, but Gold was transported to the hospital for minor injuries.
