A tour management company is accusing Rick Ross of not paying them $171,000. According to Law360.com, Total Access Talent Inc. has filed a lawsuit against the rapper in a Miami, Florida courtroom for allegedly not holding up his end of a contract.
Ross supposedly hired Total Access Talent to organize a tour for himself and other Maybach Music Group artists late last year. Apparently, part of the deal entailed that the company would be paid ten percent commission from the tour's earnings. After the company arranged the tour dates, Ross supposedly cut ties with Total Access Talent and refused to pay them $171,000 in commission.
Rick Ross and Total Access Talent Inc. have reportedly worked together since 2004. Because of their history together, the contract in question was not written down. Instead, Total Access Talent admits the agreement was completely verbal.
